As we gracefully transition from the warmth of summer to the crispness of fall on our special day, our utmost desire is for you to enjoy every moment with comfort and ease. While we aspire for our guests to look nice, please know that this is not an overly formal affair, and your comfort is of the utmost importance. To strike the perfect balance between looking good and feeling at ease, we recommend selecting attire that is both stylish and comfortable. Your presence is the most cherished, and we want you to celebrate with us in a way that feels just right for you.
In keeping with Washington tradition, our fall celebration may witness a delightful mix of sunshine and the possibility of rain. While our reception will be comfortably sheltered under a canopy, we're excited to exchange vows outdoors during the ceremony. Rest assured, we have contingency plans in place for rain; nonetheless, we recommend bringing a light rain jacket, just in case. As our venue gracefully blends grass, gravel, and cement, we also suggest opting for closed-toed shoes for both comfort and style.
As the day retains a subtle hint of summer warmth, the evenings are expected to cool down, with current forecasts indicating a range of approximately 65°F/50°F. However, we recommend keeping an eye on local weather updates as the wedding approaches for the latest information.
To navigate these temperature fluctuations seamlessly, we suggest opting for attire that embraces light, breathable layers. This adaptable approach ensures your comfort, allowing you to effortlessly adjust to any changes in the weather throughout the celebration.
There is ample gravel parking for all guests on site at Wallace Falls Lodge! As you enter, signage will be present directing folks where to park.
While we adore the laughter and joy that children bring, we have made the decision to host an adults-only celebration. We kindly request that our wedding be an opportunity for adults to enjoy the evening, relax, and partake in the festivities without any childcare concerns.
As we prepare to gather for our wedding the health and safety of our family and friends are of utmost importance to us. In light of the ongoing public health considerations, we kindly request your cooperation to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
For the well-being of all guests, we encourage everyone to be fully vaccinated before attending the event. If you are not vaccinated, we kindly ask that you wear a mask throughout the duration of the event.
This precautionary measure aims to protect individuals who may be more vulnerable and contribute to the overall safety of our gathering.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating an inclusive and secure environment for everyone.
